Brand refresh, Logo and styleguide

Project overview

The client returned to me to rethink the visual identity of the U.S. Alumni Association in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their existing logo no longer reflected who they had become, so the goal was to create something more professional, memorable, and rooted in the connection between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States. That was the only requrement.

The challenge

After a round of ideation, a complete logo suite was developed including primary and secondary versions, a standalone mark, typographic variations, and usage guidelines. To support everyday communication, I also established a color palette, typography system, reusable graphic patterns, and formatted several internal documents the association needed immediately, allowing the refreshed identity to be implemented from day one.

The Results

The final direction was selected and approved by the association's board, resulting in a cohesive identity that gives the organization a more professional and recognizable presence. It was one of those projects that was short, focused, and genuinely enjoyable to work on. As a designer, there's no better compliment than having a client return and trust you with shaping their brand once again.
